Is it just SOAP notes?
No. Qull drafts everything a speech therapist documents: SOAP notes, assessment reports, progress reports, discharge summaries, treatment plans and goals, screening summaries, insurance and funding letters, referral letters, school and IEP input, home programs, family summaries, and intake packets, plus the billing that goes with them: codes, superbills, invoices, and receipts. It also handles the admin around it all: deadlines, unsigned documents, and goal data.
Do I have to record the whole session?
No. A 30 second voice note, or one or two typed lines, is all Qull needs. From that, plus what the chart already knows, it drafts the full document. You never record or sit through the whole session.
Does it work with Jane, SimplePractice, or my EMR?
Yes. Every document exports as a clean PDF or Word file that drops into Jane, SimplePractice, Owl Practice, or any other system your clinic runs on, and claims come out in the formats funders take, including TELUS eClaims style exports for Canadian insurers. Direct integrations are rolling out with early partner clinics.
Where do the reports get their data?
From the notes you already made. Goals, baselines, measures, and attendance carry forward automatically, so a progress report or funding letter starts from real numbers instead of memory. You verify everything before it goes anywhere.
Is the document really mine?
Yes. Qull drafts; you review, edit, and sign. Your signature makes it the legal record, with you as the author. Qull never files a document on its own.
Can it replace my other tools?
That is the goal. Clients, schedule, documents, goals, sharing, and billing all live in Qull, so a solo practice can run on it end to end. If your clinic keeps its existing system, Qull sits alongside it and exports cleanly into it.
Are the documents insurance ready?
Yes. Structured, goal linked, signed and dated, in a CASLPO style format funders expect, with CPT and ICD-10 codes attached and a clean PDF export. Funding letters come out in the medical necessity language claims reviewers look for.
Is it PHIPA and HIPAA compliant?
Qull is architected for Ontario’s PHIPA and Canada’s PIPEDA, with Canadian data residency, and aligned with HIPAA for US practices. A BAA is available. A SOC 2 Type II examination is underway. The full picture is on the security page.
Does it work beyond fluency?
Yes. Articulation, phonology, language, voice, resonance, motor speech, social communication, and AAC. The documents are the same across domains; the clinical language adapts to each.
